Trinity School Dress Code/School Uniforms

Trinity School requires school uniforms and students to maintain a clean, well groomed appearance.  When out of uniform, students’ dress should be simple, neat, and conducive to a learning atmosphere.

Hair and Grooming

Students should maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance.  Hair should be combed/brushed and clean.  Hair should be kept out of the face.  Boy’s hair should be kept above the collar and eyes.  Extreme and distracting hair styles and colorings will not be permitted.

Pants/Shorts

Only true khaki pants or shorts are permitted (approved samples may be seen in the office). All clothing, other than the Parker School uniforms, must conform to the samples in the office. Corduroy, cargo, jean type, capris, wide-leg slacks and pants and shorts with patch pockets are not acceptable.  Pants and shorts must fit appropriately, not too tight or baggy.

Belt

No Belts Required If Polo Shirts Have Vented Sides. A black belt must be worn with pants or shorts if the shirt does not have vented sides. The belt should be a plain, standard style, approximately one inch in width. Belts must not have any logos, metal studs, or other decoration or wording.

Shorts/Skirts

Shorts and skirts must not be shorter than the width of a dollar bill above the knee.  K-8 grade will wear the Parker plaid skirt and 9-12 grade will wear Parker contour waist khaki pleated skirts.

Shirts/Blouses

Students may wear knit long or short sleeved polo shirts with collars in white or hunter green (no variance).  No emblems, stripes, zippers, or metallic buttons. Students may only wear solid white t-shirts under their uniform polos. All shirts must be completely buttoned with the exception of the top button regardless of the article of clothing underneath. Students with vented sides on the polo shirts will not be required to wear it tucked in or with belts.

High School students may wear knit short sleeved polo shirts with collars in navy (no variance).  No emblems, stripes, zippers, or metallic buttons. Students may only wear solid white t-shirts under their uniform polos. All shirts must be completely buttoned with the exception of the top button regardless of the article of clothing underneath. Students with vented sides on the polo shirts will not be required to wear it tucked in or with belts.  Long sleeved Rugby shirts ordered through the school will be permited in navy/white.

T-Shirts

Trinity t-shirts may be worn on t-shirt days only as called for by the Head of School.

Sweatshirts

Only Trinity sweatshirts are allowed during school hours.  Other sweatshirts may be worn when designated by the Head of School.  Sweatshirts must be worn on the outside of regular uniform shirts. Hoods may not be worn in the building.

Sweaters, Jackets, or Coats

Sweaters, jackets, or coats may not be worn in classrooms. During cooler weather, students may wear Trinity sweatshirts over their uniform shirts.

Jewelry

Students may wear a watch. Girls may wear one small, pair of studs in their ears. Boys are not permitted to wear earrings. No other jewelry may be worn. Body piercings are not permitted.

Shoes

All white or all black athletic shoes that tie or velcro. No colored emblems or mixture of black and white are acceptable.  High School may wear brown leather deck or boat shoes.

Socks

All shoes must be worn with white or black socks, with the exception of 9-12 grade wearing brown leather deck or boat shoes. Girls may wear white tights.
