Summer Reading and Writing List

6^th grade – The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

7^th grade – The Call of the Wild by Jack London

8/9^th grade- The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

10/11^th grade- A biography of at least 100 pages in length

Writing practice- Eight journal entries about any appropriate topic. There must be at least five sentences in each entry with at least five words in a sentence.
